SANGAMITHRA ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT TRUST, based in Coimbatore, is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) committed to environmental education and sustainable development. Established in 2010, our trust has emerged as a prominent player in the field of education and development.

Our Objects:

1. To Conduct women Empowerment Training Progrommes and celebrating their achievements.

2. Advocating for the rights and well-being of girls.To Create Awarness Progrommes for POCSO ACT-2012

3. Contributing to a greener environment. To Conduct Saplling Planitation Progrommes in Tamilnadu Rural Areas & Water Tanks Pubilc Places. 

4. Self-Help Group Training Programs: Equipping individuals with Veries skills for self-reliance & Life Skil Training Progrommes.

5. Drug Addiction Awareness: Promoting awareness and prevention.

6. Sapling Plantation Functions: Nurturing the future through tree planting.

7. Stress Relief Competitions: Encouraging mental well-being.

8. Implementing and conducting schemes, projects and services of free medical camps Individually or in association with other service organizations and sponsors.

9. Implementing, establishing and maintaining schemes and orphanages for invalid handicapped and mentally retarded.

10. Implementing, establishing, conducting and maintaining educational service programmes , trainings and establishments for all people of various age groups to become efficient human resources.

11. Implementing, establishing, conducting and maintaining women welfare and awareness programmes, schemes and establishments

12. Implementing, establishing, conducting and maintaining self-sufficient status development service programmes and guidance activities for all human resources To identify technologies which are environmentally compatible, economically viable and socially equitable for the technological empowerment of the resource poor.

13. To enable the resource – poor to benefit from the products and processes of science and technology by translating acquired knowledge and skills into sustainable income and employment generating activities.

14. To offer know how, advice and technical guidance and implementation support in the field of technology and social welfare rural industries, formal and non-formal education, community health, habitat and environment and any other field considered useful for the purpose of promoting integrated human development of the resource-poor.

15. Propagating and implementing knowledge about pollution free environment.

16. To create public awareness through publication of periodicals, newsletters, journals and educational campaigns and meetings in furtherance of these objects.

17. To promote legal training Programmes and assistance to victims. Also mobilize various Governmental Programmes.

18. To provide vocational trainings for school-drop outs, rehabilitated child labours women and children.

19. To mobilize economic programs. Promote companies for Mricro Credit for poor women.

20. To conduct AIDS Awareness Programs, to start AIDS Counseling Centers to spread the message of HIV/AIDS (through meetings, posters, Dramas, Medical etc)

21. To open handicraft centers for boys and girls and to teach them useful handicrafts like carpentry, typewriting, tailoring, cotton and silk weaving and small cottage industries such as mat-weaving, paper-cup making to open and maintain short term technical and non technical course and trainings.

22. To open physically handicapped deaf and dumb schools and conduct programs.

23. To borrow money on interest from RMK, NABARD and other Financial institutions and to lend to the women groups and collect the repay to the concerned institutions, raise loans from banks, Government, Financial Institutions for purposes of Trust.

24. To impart useful and educative information in all matters affecting social, economical cultural and scientific life to the public in general and particularly to the ignorant people of undeveloped remote villages, urban, town and to youngsters to make them better citizens.

25. To render financial help to physically handicapped persons destitute and widows.
