Bhairava is the magnificent and fiery manifestation of Shiva associated with annihilation. Bhairava originates from the word Bhīru, which means fearful. Bhairava means terribly fearful form. It's also known as one who destroys fear or one who is beyond fear. The right interpretation is he protects his devotees from dreadful enemies, greed, lust and anger. There is also another interpretation. Bha means creation, Ra means sustenance and Va means destruction. Therefore, Bhairava is the one who creates, sustains and dissolves the three stages of life. Bhairava is the Supreme Or Ultimate form of Lord Shiva and they guard the cardinal points. There are 64 Bhairava's. These 64 Bhairava's are grouped under 8 categories and each category is headed by one major Bhairava. The major eight Bhairava's are called Ashta Bhairava's. The Ashta Bhairava's control the 8 directions of this universe. Each Bhairava has eight sub Bhairava's under them, totalling 64 Bhairava's. All of the Bhairava's are ruled and controlled by Maha Swarna Kala Bhairava. This Beautiful temple is dedicated to Sri Maha Sorna Bhairavi Sametha Sri Maha Sornakala Bhairavar the Ultimate Lord of the Universe. This temple statue is One of its kind and is unique to this the world. The Lord and his Consort appear seated under the Karpaga Vriksham (Giver of all the Good things- Gold, Property, health, wealth, peace and tranquility). The Lord appeared in this beautiful Divine form along with his consort and showered blessings on Ayya Bairava Upasagar Sri Vembu Sidhar Gunasshegare Swamigal and asked him to build this temple for him. The lord in this Divine form can never be seen so calm in the entire universe. Kala Bhairava is also conceptualised as the Guru of the planetary deity, Shani (Saturn). All the devotees who visit this temple are Showered with Blessings and all cured of the maleficent effects of Grahams, Curses and Dhoshams. Bhairava is also known as Vairavar in Tamil, where he is often presented as a guardian who safeguards the devotee in eight directions (Ettu tikku). The Lord speaks to the devotees in Person or through our Guru Sri Vembusidhar Swamigal for those who completely believe in him and Meditate towards him. There have been many instances in this temple where the lord has spoken and has provided advice to specific problems faced by Devotees and helped to resolve them. Personally I have felt that I am always blessed and he is always standing near me guiding me to make the right decisions in life. You just need to ask him what you need and he will provide you what you truly deserve. The highly auspicious times to worship Lord are on the days of Ashtami (अष्टमी aṣṭhamī) is the eighth day (Tithi) of Hindu lunar calendar from (10:30AM-12PM) and Evening (4:30PM-6 PM) All are welcome to visit this auspicious temple to receive the blessings of Sri Maha Sorna Bhairavi Sametha Sri Sorna Kala Bhairavar (Sri Global Gold Aakarshana Bhairavar). Kindly Meditate for at least 30 Mins in this temple to resolve your Problems.
