**GLOBAL MIGRANTS WORKERS DEVELOPMENT TRUST**
The Global Migrant Workers Development Trust was established in 2022 in Tamil Nadu by Mr. N. Kalimuthu.
This organisation works across India to secure the rights, benefits, and due recognition provided by both the Central and State Governments for migrant workers, persons with disabilities, and the poor and underprivileged. It also creates dignified employment opportunities for them.
The Trust collaborates with social activists, trade unions, employers, unorganised workers, and the government to fulfil the basic needs of migrant workers, persons with disabilities, the poor, the needy, and the differently abled, thereby improving their quality of life.
It functions under the expert guidance of socially conscious industrialists, lawyers, and dedicated social welfare activists who carry out numerous welfare programmes and services without seeking any publicity.
The Trust creates awareness among migrant workers who have left their home state to work in other states, persons with disabilities, and economically disadvantaged people who are unaware of Central and State Government welfare schemes. It helps them access these benefits, raises their standard of living, provides free medical assistance, ensures quality education for their children, and transforms them into successful entrepreneurs to resolve their economic challenges.
The primary objective of the Global Migrants Workers Development Trust is to ensure that all workers receive government welfare schemes in a fair and equitable manner. These include free medical insurance schemes, pension schemes, accident insurance schemes, life insurance schemes, and various other benefits and concessions available to workers.
The organisation extends a wide range of services to benefit migrant workers and businesspeople who have moved from their home state to neighbouring states.
It is making every effort to enrol all migrant Tamils in the Migrant Tamils Welfare Board that is soon to be launched by the Tamil Nadu Government, so that they can fully avail themselves of all State Government rights and benefits.
In this regard, the Trust is conducting awareness camps for all migrant workers in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
The Migrant Tamils Welfare Board is expected to be implemented within the next few months. The Trust is making intensive efforts to enrol every Tamil living in Kerala into this Board so that they receive all entitled benefits.
In addition, the Global Migrants Workers Development Trust helps these individuals obtain the following key government schemes:
- **ABHA Card** (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) – a 14-digit national digital health ID under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM)
- **e-Shram Card**
- **PMJAY Health Insurance Card** (₹5 lakh medical insurance cover)
and all other available welfare benefits.
At present, branches of the Global Migrants Workers Development Trust are being established in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, and Delhi.

இந்த அமைப்பு சமூக ஆர்வலர்கள், தொழிற்சங்கங்கள், முதலாளிகள்,
அமைப்புசாரா தொழிலாளர்கள் மற்றும் அரசாங்கத்துடன் இணைந்து புலம்பெயர் தொழிலாளர்கள், மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகள் மற்றும் ஏழை எளியோர்களுக்கும் இல்லாதவர்களுக்கும் இயலாதவர்களுக்கும் அவர்களின் அடிப்படை தேவைகளை பூர்த்தி செய்து அவர்களின் வாழ்க்கை தரத்தை மேம்படுத்துகிறது.
இந்த அறக்கட்டளையானது நம் நாட்டில் சமூக சேவை ஒன்றே குறிக்கோளாகக் கொண்டிருக்கும் தொழிலதிபர்கள்,
வழக்கறிஞர்கள் மற்றும் சமூகத்தில் விளம்பரமேயில்லாமல் பல நலத் திட்டங்களையும் சேவைகளையும் செய்து வரும் பல நல்ல சமூக நல ஆர்வலர்களின் மேலான ஆலோசனைகளின் படி இயங்கி வருகிறது.
தமது சொந்த மாநிலத்திலிருந்து மற்ற மாநிலங்களில் பணிபுரியும் புலம்பெயர்ந்த தொழிலாளர்கள், மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகள் மற்றும் சொந்த மாநிலத்திலேயே மத்திய அரசு மற்றும் மாநில அரசின் சலுகைகள் கிடைக்காமல் அதுகுறித்து விழிப்புணர்வு இல்லாத ஏழை எளிய மக்களுக்கும் விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்தி அவர்களை அந்தத் திட்டங்களில் பயனடையச் செய்து அவர்களின் வாழ்க்கை தரத்தை மேம்படுத்துவதும்
