Head History:

This is the place where the gods Indra and the sages of Kadama, who could not bear the cruelty of Ranya Kasub, offered sacrifices to Vishnu on the small cliff at Italam and Vishnu promised to destroy Ranya Kasub with his lion face.

Reconstruction work started on 27.10.2020 and there is a separate sanctum sanctorum for the source in 108 Divya Desam to add more specialty to it.

The cost of this has been fixed at Rs. 2 lakhs each to be set up with the sources for a Divya Desa Sanctuary.

இரண்ய கசுபுவின் கொடுமைகளை தாள முடியாத இந்திரன் தேவர்களும், கதம முனிவர்களும் விஷ்ணுவை வேண்டி இத்தலத்தில் உள்ள சிறு குன்றின் மீது யாகம் செய்தனர் அதே சமயம் விஷ்ணு காட்சி கொடுத்து தனது சிங்க முகம் கொண்டு இரண்ய கசுபுவை அழித்து விடுவதாக வாக்குறுதி குடுத்த தலம் இது.

27.10.2020 அன்று மறு சீரமைப்பு பணி தொடங்கப்பட்டு இதில் மேலும் சிறப்பு சேர்க்க 108 திவ்ய தேசத்தில் உள்ள மூலவருக்கு தனி தனி சன்னதி இடம் பபெறுகிறது.

இதற்கான செலவு 'ஒரு திவ்ய தேச சன்னதிக்கு மூலவர்களுடன் அமைக்க தலா இரண்டு லட்சம் என நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.இதற்காக நண்கொடையாளர்களும், உபாயதரர்களும்உதவும் படி கேட்டு கொள்கிறோம்.
